Blue Chia Pudding Bowl – A Superfood Recipe by Chef Isa

Chia pudding is just one of those snacks you can’t go wrong! Try this colorful kid-approved Blue Chia Pudding bowl recipe from Chef Isa! Transform simple ingredients into a nutrition-packed meal with all the superfoods your child needs!

Chia seeds are loaded with fiber, antioxidants, calcium, and more. These tiny seeds may be introduced as soon as your baby is ready to start eating solids.

They are mild in flavor so you can add them into almost every meal so it’s a great option for a healthy breakfast, snack, or dessert! Curious about how to get this vibrant natural blue food color?

What you’ll need:

Superfoods: Chia, blueberries, cashews, spirulina


  • 3 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp Blue Spirulina
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • Some Fresh blueberries & blackberries
  • Some Edible flowers (optional)



In a small bowl or glass jar, add chia seeds, blue spirulina, and milk.
Add 1/8 cup of honey or maple syrup if wanted. Mix and refrigerate for 2 hours
or more.


In a bowl, add cashews and hot water and let it soak for 2 hours or more.


After 2 hours or more, rinse cashews and blend them with 1/8 cup of honey until it reaches a creamy consistency.
Add 1 or 2 tbsps. of water if needed.


Serve chia pudding, add cashew cream on top and fresh berries, and decorate with edible flowers.
