Whether you're hosting a Halloween party or just want a great dessert to enjoy with friends and family, this recipe guarantees spooky fun!

What you’ll need:

Ingredients:For the Avocado Mousse:
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 100g melted dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Chocolate-stuffed cookies as tombstones
For the Spider Berries:
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Candy eyes for decoration
For the Apple Monsters:
  • 2 green apples
  • Nut butter
  • Sliced strawberries
  • Candy eyes for decoration

Optional Decoration: Crushed chocolate cookies or crumbled chocolate for the "soil.”

Preparation:For the Avocado Mousse:
  1. Begin by preparing the avocado mousse. Cut the ripe avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop out the flesh.
  2. In a food processor or blender, combine the avocado flesh, melted dark chocolate, and maple syrup. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more maple syrup if necessary.
  3. Once the mousse is ready, transfer it to a bowl and chill it in the refrigerator.

Optionally, decorate the "graveyard" by sprinkling crushed chocolate cookies or crumbled chocolate on top of the mousse to resemble soil add a Milano cookie and write “Rip” with the chocolate mousse.

For the Spider Berries:
  1. While the mousse is chilling, prepare the spider strawberries. Remove the green tops from the fresh strawberries and set them aside.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler.
  3. On a piece of parchment paper, use the melted chocolate to create spider legs for each strawberry.
  4. Attach candy eyes to the strawberry heads while the chocolate is still soft. Allow the chocolate to set by placing the strawberries in the refrigerator.
For the Apple Monsters:
  1. Cut the green apples into quarters. Take each quarter and make an incision to create a mouth.
  2. Fill the mouth with nut butter.
  3. Place a sliced strawberry inside the mouth to act as the monster's tongue.
  4. Attach candy eyes to the apples using the melted chocolate as "glue."
